has been on-chain since block zero — and, as a bounded custody receipt, with
four early coinbase addresses drawn at random from the first 2,000 blocks.

The draw is verifiable and could not be chosen: block 24000 was announced
in advance as the Decentralisation Day block, before it was mined. Read its
hash in 8-hex-digit chunks, take each mod 2000 plus one, and keep the first
