Before two parties can trade, they have to find each other and agree on terms. Usually an exchange does this, and holds the funds of both sides in the meantime. On TensorCash, the wallet handles the whole trade itself, with no exchange in between [1].
Offers are posted on a public bulletin board built on Nostr. Posts in discussion threads require proof of holding $TSC, which keeps spam off the board.
The two parties agree on terms over an encrypted channel, which even the relay passing the messages cannot read.
Both sides sign the same transaction with a method that stops either of them from backing out halfway, and the trade settles on the chain.

Sends inThis works for any asset on TensorCash, because both sides of the trade sit in a single transaction. Trades with assets on other chains, such as Ethereum, need a separate transaction on each chain and follow a different process, described in the paper [1].
