01 / Native assets and financial layer

Finance built
into the chain.

TensorCash combines the security of Bitcoin with the financial functions of Ethereum, built into the protocol instead of written as custom contracts. Assets, settlement, compute derivatives and direct trading all run on the same chain as $TSC.

Network difficulty

Tokens per second

76.97Mtok/s

+71.9%

Implied, not measured: network proofs per second × 256, the tokens each proof covers. The proof rate is the effective difficulty solved per second over the last 50 blocks. Source: scan.tensorcash.org.

02 / Built-in primitives

Financial primitives
without custom contract code.

1

Native assets

6 primitives

  1. Stablecoins, shares, bonds and funds issued on the chain itself. The issuer posts a $TSC deposit, which is returned once the asset has paid enough fees to prove it is genuine.

  2. When issuing an asset, the issuer sets whether more units can be created or destroyed later and who is allowed to hold it, for example only KYC-approved holders.

  3. A prospectus or contract is attached to the asset by its hash, so it cannot be quietly swapped.

  4. Information can be encrypted so that only the asset’s holders can read it.

  5. Changes to an asset’s rules are voted on by its holders, not decided by the issuer alone.

  6. Holders can prove they passed KYC without revealing who they are.

2

Settlement

3 primitives

  1. Two parties swap assets or $TSC in a single transaction. Either both sides are delivered, or nothing happens.

  2. A borrower posts collateral and receives funds. If the loan is not repaid in time, the lender takes the collateral.

  3. Two parties agree today on a delivery later, with margin on both sides and delivery enforced by the chain.

Compute derivatives

The network’s difficulty tracks how much AI compute is running. Options and contracts-for-difference on it let miners hedge their income and let anyone take a position on AI compute, settled in $TSC by the chain itself, with no oracle.

Coordination layer

Your wallet handles the whole trade, with no exchange in between. You post an offer on the network’s public bulletin board, agree the terms with the other party over an encrypted channel, and both sign the same transaction, which then settles on the chain. This works for any asset on TensorCash, including wrapped stablecoins. No account is needed, and no middleman can read the negotiation or hold the funds.

DEX

A design for a decentralised exchange, still at research stage. Each order is encrypted and its key is split across ten independent validators, six of which are needed to open it. No single party can see an order before it is placed, which protects traders from front-running.

03 / Powered by $TSC

It all runs on $TSC.

Every action in the financial layer, whether it is issuing an asset, trading, settling a contract or taking a position on compute, is a transaction on the chain and pays its fee in $TSC.
